This is where it all happens, kids. This is where I practice, this is where the charts for the Nails are produced, this is where the Website from Hell is maintained. On my off hours I create for my own amusement the most hideous Industrial music and Quirky Electronica you'd ever want to hear. Below is a complete list of stuff for all the tech-heads:

Desk: Apple MacIntosh 800Mhz G4. I'm a Mac boy and proud of it, and it's the perfect host to the Digidesign ProTools system. Also, not pictured is the BBE 862 Sonic Maximizer and the Tascam DA-30mkII Dat machine on the other side of the monitor from the Mackie 1402VLZ mixer.

Top rack: Denon DN-2700F Dual CD player (I wouldn't recommend one; it works but it's clunky) & Marantz PMD510 Fully independent dual cassette deck. Middle rack: Roland DEP-5 and Ensoniq DP/2 Effects processors, Mackie LM-3204 Mixer, Alesis Quadraverb GT, Mark of the Unicorn Midi Express XT, Roland R-8M & MKS-50. Bottom rack: 2 Furman patchbays, various compression and noise gates, Roland SVC-350 Vocoder (betcha don't have one of these, earthling!), & Oberheim Matrix 6R. First stand (left to right, top to bottom): Sequential Circuits Studio 440 (my pride and joy), Peavey PC1600 Midi controller (V2.2), Studiologic SL-161 midi controller, Clavia Nordlead 3, Access Virus B, Sequential Circuits Prophet-5, Kurzweil K2000 (since this photo was taken I traded the K2k for a rack-mount K2600rs. My main keyboard controller is now a Kurzweil PC88). Second stand: DrumKAT Midi percussion controller with Dauz pads & the MalletKAT.

This just in! In order to help me record the latest album, I've also aquired a Neumann TLM 103 microphone (black, natch) and a Drawmer 1960 Tube Pre-amp. My new studio monitors are a pair of Event 20/20s with a Hafler TRM10.1 powered subwoofer.

There are advantages to not living in the 1930s.
